Troy's Great Wall-- Phase One

My husband is a DIY (do it yourself) kinda guy. He likes to build things. Our backyard slopes and ever since we found this house when it was still under construction, he had the vision to build a retaining wall out of stone. Please, fast forward almost 4 years. Now, that the weather is not so hot and he's got some free time during the day, he has started. Phase 1 is getting all the stone. So here is his/our pile of stone. Each of these rocks has had to be hand carried to our back yard-- so that's like more than 100 trips already. The digging is about to start.
