Butterfly from Pick A Petal Stamp Set

Here's another one of the cards from my class this past week. I promised we would use the petals from the Pick A Petal Stamp set to make all kinds of bugs. Here we used the petals to make the wings on the butterfly.

It's hard to tell in this picture, but the petals were stamped in Rose Red Craft Ink and then embossed with Hologram Highlights- so they are real glittery. The body of the butterfly was done with a circle and a petal piece from the On Board Blossoms & Basics, our coordinating chipboard. The chipboard was pressed into a Garden Green Craft Pad and also embossed with Hologram Highlights. The background paper is from the Cutie Pie collection, it's matted in Garden Green and then mounted on a Rose Red card base.
