Today is Day 4 of the It's for the Birds Blog Hop. Thank you to Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt and Mary for hosting and cheerleading.
What a day it has been. I took the afternoon off to finish my project and our dog became ill so instead of sewing, we ended up spending the afternoon and part of the evening at the vet! Ack...
Well here it is... I literally just finished this and quickly took pictures to be on by midnight EST.
Introducing my Bold & Funky Bird...
This is a pillow to add to the many already on my 8 year old daughter's recently redecorated room. I made a pompom pillow two weeks ago for the Shake Your Pom Poms blog hop. I wish I could have gotten the whole bed, but she is literally asleep in the other half and I was just praying I would not wake her.
This pattern is from Virginia Lindsay at Gingercake Patterns & Design. I've had my eye on it for a while and this bird blog hop was the perfect excuse to buy it. I'll be posting some other bird projects in the next post so be sure to scroll down.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit the other ladies on the blog hop today.
Happy Birding!
