Moving on to Hair Stuff...

Since there are only so many shirts, towels, bags and blankets I can make for our daughter, I have started to explore other 'embroidering' opportunities. I've been purchasing hair stitch designs from my favorite designer in Australia for a while, but had not taken the time to try them out. Well, I am hooked!

These are so fun, easy, and most of all FAST. The best thing is that I can make a bunch in one hoop. Here is my first attempt at a Valentine design.

There are many designs and you can attach them to fabric covered barrettes. The possibilities are truly endless.

Miss M loved it and now she wants one to match every outfit! Now, I have plenty to do! Thanks for stopping by.

Getting ready for Valentine's Day

I can't believe Valentine's Day is already around the corner. There are so many cute heart embroidery and applique designs out there that I am finding myself buying everything I see. I just got this design from one of my favorite designers in Australia and had to make Micaela a sweatshirt. Hope you are staying warm, thanks for stopping by!

B & B for a Baseball Fan

Made this set for a co-workers grandson that is due to arrive this March. They are doing the nursery in a baseball theme with an emphasis on St Louis Cardinal red. I could not find Cardinal fabric but thought this red baseball fabric was pretty close.
Sorry it's a poor picture, I took it when my phone before walking out the door! Thanks for stopping by!

Snowflake Tablescape

After the holidays I like to continue a sparkly theme with snowflakes after all our Christmas decor comes down and before Valentine's Day decorations are up. Some years our Christmas stuff is down in time and others years it isn't. I started the process this year but after a crazy work schedule and a full week of having bad bronchitis, we are moving straight to Valentine's Day. Here's the table several years ago. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the flatware and linens have snowflakes on them. My favorite item is the placecard holders, my friend Kristi and I found those at Crate & Barrel on a lunch hour shopping mission about 12 years ago. Thanks for stopping by!
